I really like the design you did your afghan in!! It's different and very pretty! I like your colors too! :cooldude:

Good for you! I am on this forum uniquely from my iPad. Luckyrainbow told me that Photobucket is free and is easy to use. It's true, as you can see from the number of photo posts I do. You can click on any one of my photos to get to Photobucket. And you can download the Photobucket app from the apps store - link at bottom of every photo.

Thank ya thank ya thank ya!! :hellogoodbye:

I think that seaming is just as important as our knitting was, you know? So, it's awesome that you are paying close attention to how it is turning out. Seaming gets better and better with each project.

I have a blanket that I "seamed" together several years ago, before the internet existed. Someone gave me a bunch of knitted and crocheted squares, and I did a strange seam that was very rustic-looking. But, it has held the little blanket together just fine, and I still use it every day!

Now, since I've had the internet to learn about seaming correctly, I am much more careful with my seaming. But, I have no desire to re-do the seaming on that first little blanket. I like having it as a reminder of my earlier seaming attempts. Keeps me humble.

Wow, girls... I've been peeking in here every once in a while, to see how the KAL is unfolding, and with all the similar squares I thought the finishing afghan would come out a little dull and boring... Boy, was I wrong! These are all wonderful! They look great all joined together. :bravo:
I was considering making the KAL after I finish with CAL, and I wasn't sure if I wanted it... Now it's officially the next on my to-knit list! :knit:

And I have been doing the same with the crochet... I go each week to see the finished pieces and can't wait to see how they will fit together. I will probably want to do a crochet one afterwards! :cloud9:

Same here!! :D I'm just glad I didn't try to do both the KAL and CAL at the same time, because this KAL has been keeping me very busy! :knit:
