What are YOU working on to pass the time?

Talk about the KAL/CAL in a general sense. Knitters and crocheters, get to know one another while discussing your choices of Bernat Waverly shades!

I found the video on YouTube. Here's the link:

Friday I got the 3 balls of mesh I ordered from Jo-Ann Fabrics on-line...black and white, shades of red, shades of blue. I may try crocheting one of them.
Good luck!

I've posted a few videos on YouTube of my playing.
Here's one I did with my keyboard for Christmas.

And here I am playing organ at my church during Holy Week a few years ago. Sound quality is bad on this one, because it was recorded with my old digital camera.

I agree about piano making fingers nimble. Same with typing. ;)

Thanks for posting, very nice pieces, I just love listening to piano playing, one of my son has a talent for piano playing, but unfortunately he doesn't play enough  between work and 2 kids it is understandable!

Did you know they can be made by crocheting also?

I did try to crochet them at first but had a terrible time trying to see the top of the stitches to crochet into. :hrmm:

an Entrelac blanket for my new niece due in April:

a granny square blanket for one of my extra daughters. Have 63 of these to piece together. I'm staring that process tonight:

How about everyone else?

Love Love Love :inlove: the entrelac blanket! Is there a freebie pattern lurking somewhere online?

Patty,

I used the video CAL from Beth Ham (bethintx1) on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL8F0061A863F4F4D1

She does an awesome job of showing step by step.

Finally got around to taking pictures. This is what I have been doing when I wasn't CAL-ing. I like having a project going that I call a 'no-brainer'. The afghan has two pattern rows and when you learn them you never have to look at the pattern again. It is a ripple/open fan design. It is done in Red Heart Buff Fleck and the contrast striping in Golden Brown, Black and regular Buff. The stripes will repeat three time. I feel like I am corcheting the desert whe I work on it.

So nice!!! It's colors will go with almost anything.

March 2, I started knitting & crocheting again after a 30 or so year absence.

The past week, I've been making toys, without patterns. So far, the maroon dog, the pink piggy, & girl doll with blond braids worked, but the frogs & puppet did not. I am combining crocheting & knitting. Before that, I made a sleeveless sweater using a circular knitting needle for the first time, and made a matching vest with a crocheted body & knitted hood, and a bunch of knitted scarves & 1 crocheted scarf with a fringe. (I bought 10 lbs of yarn.)

I checked 7 books out from the local library for ideas & am also watching you tube to see what people do.

Looking forward to seeing what all of you here are doing, & have enjoyed this thread.

I have finished several croched eggs for our great nephew for Easter. This is the pattern I found on the Michael's craft website--they are quick and easy to make.
