Yes, a post about pets!

Ever watch Disney's Fantasia- remember the scene with the two fish- one black, one gold; the music from Nutcracker Suite- Arabian Dance- always been one of my favorites. :hellogoodbye:

One of my all-time favorite movies--I watch it often!!!!! I have a beautiful Fantasia coffee mug that a friend gave me years ago and then the Disney store stopped carrying them--bummer.

Now I have to watch the movie, so much talking about it just makes me want to see it again! Finish up my Bunny toy( no pattern) and Easter eggs(Michael's pattern) in front of the tube. Where's the popcorn... nope, that would mean greasy fingers. Maybe this will be good for my diet! :hellogoodbye:

whoa .. bad thread for me .. can't help bragging

This is my Cyrus .. his mum was a wild cat. She was moving her litter when we walked into the barn and she was so afraid she dropped him and ran. We waited outside but 20 minutes later she still hadn't come back and the poor beggar was freezing to death in -30C. i couldn't stand listening his cries as they started to fade so I went back in and scooped him up, stuck him in my pocket and took him home. He was about a week old and smaller than the palm of my hand, bottled fed every 2 hours, packed every where in my pocket, he's sure a Mama's boy.

Now he's 10 years old and 16 lbs of hairy cuddle. (I had some wee baby pics I wanted to post but can't find them)

I have to tell--I feel soooo good. These are not pets but they do spend lots of time eating the sunflower seeds that I throw for the birds. We rescued two chipmunks from the pool today--they were just about gonners when I scooped them out, wrapped them in a towel, put them in a box and hit them with the warm air from the hair dryer. It took about 30 min. for them to recover, but they scampered off to gather more seeds. They are soooooo cute!!!!!!!!!!!

I love chipmunks, they're so small and adorable. How sweet about the rescue. That must have been fun!
