There's still a border to be done.

I have maybe a dumb question, but I have never seamed a blanket before. How do you choose which color to seam together with? When your putting two pieces together do you just pick one of the two so it matches? Also does this mean that you keep switching colors between each of the pieces that you are connection and if so how do you finish off the end. Boy this is a challenge for me.

Personally, I try to make sure it's one of the two colors that are being seamed together. You could pick a different, matching color and seam everything with that to good effect as well.

Yes, if you have tails, you can seam with those. you'll just need to carry the yarn to the corner first.

okay so I watched the video on how to seem. Now I am just wondering how you start and finish. Do you just weave in the start and then do your seam and weave in the end? I'm sorry I have never done this before but am so excited to start. Thank you for any help!!!:) by the way I did not leave the long ends so I am starting with loose yarn. Maybe that makes more sense.

Thank you for the reply! It looked like in the chart that some motif's were only shaded and I thought those ones aren't to be seamed. Glad to know so I can start now!
