WOW! You guessed it so close to what the actual clue is! I am impressed! :bravo:

Ya know, even though I do like the official layout, I'm not sure it's my style.
I'm thinking something like this would be a good option. (It requires a slight change to the clue #1 squares)

So pretty!!! I love your colors!!! :-) I vote for yours. I like it the best of all the ones so far. It's symmetrical.

I haven't blocked any of them or weaved in any ends.

Did you end up doing your layout or the suggested one? I slightly modified your design(because of my color choice). Can't wait to see the border and it finished!!!

Wish I'd seen yours first! I may have done your layout rather than the one I ended up doing. I didn't care for the suggested layout. :hrmm:

:hellogoodbye: :hellogoodbye: Hello all you creative people. I have been printing out all the layouts I like. The possibilities are endless. I'm waiting for the border before I sew mine together. Still trying to figure out how to fill in all the crevices on the ends. I like a straight finish. Keep all those photos coming. I love seeing what other artists are doing. :bravo: AND you are all artists. :notworthy:

Thank you so much for sharing your great layout--it definitely appeals to my sense of symmetry and that is how I have laid out my CAL. I am making three more MC clue 1 pieces to replace the three other colors. I did try the official version but there was too much of my MC white grouped together for me to appreciate the individual motifs.

Someone commented on one of the threads about using safety pins to fasten together the rows or columns. I find that they tend to pull the yarn so since I tie an alternate colored piece of yarn on the front side of all my motifs, I use that to fasten together my rows--works great. I hope to be able to begin stitching soon but don't hold out much hope until the Easter festivities are finished. Thanks again for your idea and have a super weekend.
