Hi zhanie! Nice to hear from you! The blanket turned out nice--very comfy and colorful. . .since it is made of dribs and drabs of yarn, it's not all Bernat, so I don't know if I should post of pic of it here But there is a LOT of Bernat Super Value in blanket. It reminds me of folk art. It was kind of a learn as you go-type thing--I made one square/rectangle and then picked up stitches to attach it to the next squaretangle. The unattached sides I just joined together with mattress stitch. It was fun, and I can see doing another one when I accumulate more leftover yarn in odd amounts.
Mr. Jingles likes it, he always knows when Mamma makes him presents.

It is lovely!!! I have a thing about scrap blankets, they seem very meaningful somehow. Next time I make one, I'll try picking up stitches as I go too. That is a great idea. It really is a special blanket and I bet Mr. Jingles loves it.

Hi zhanie and shandeh! Thank you for the compliments on my patchwork blankie! It was a lot of fun to make--deciding what color to use next was a blast! I still have a lot of oddball orphan yarn left, even after this!
