Oh wow! Love seeing this! She does look happy! Lucky girl. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you, she was so excited that I had made something for her. She is slightly disgruntled that the CAL is not for her room. I have told both my kids that once the CAL is done I will do a smaller afghan for their rooms.

That is such an adorable picture! What little girl wouldn't like a mermaid purse in all those bright colours. Thanks for sharing. :crown:

My pleasure in sharing, everyone here was so helpful while my mind melted over the colors that I thought you all should see how it was received  .

now is such a terrific time to start thinking about Christmas presents! I have such a tough time deciding what to make. There are lots of ideas here in teh Crochet and knit-a-longs though. I also have to go to a wedding in August for my cousin who is in her twenties. I wanted to make her something. I have thought of a blanket, anyone have any other suggestions?

Thank you I was originally thinking kindle cover so I wouldn't have to do a lining but I'm leaning towards lining it now but will wait til after these 3 blankets are done

Almost done with the purse. Need a couple of sewing still and I'm working on the lining also. As soon as I am done I'll post picture (that is if I can finish the blanket first)

Nice! I am working so hard on my blankets! I don't think I have ever made so many cute things in such a short time. It definately gives me the confidence to know that I can finish a project, and with some new skills along the way. Can't wait to see your purse!

Just finished two purses. One for my daughter and a matching one for my granddaughter. I think I'll give them to my daughter on her birthday in June.
