Great job!! Everything looks so neat and even. I love your colors, especially the one you used for the top flower; it looks like a shade of turquoise in the picture.

It's aqua. It's my favorite. That and the yellow are great together.

Well .. must admit I had fun doing this but at the same time I'm really disappointed in the results. It just doesn't look the way I would like it to look. That said, it will still keep someone warm on a chilly night in front of the tv.

I think it looks great!

Thanks. I definitely practiced my sewing skills on this one. Next time I'm gonna plan it out better! I was confused most of the time I was sewing.

I love your color choices and I agree with you...the hand of the yarn is quite soft. My husband asked me to knit a cardigan for him using this yarn. He says it's not scratchy like wool

I finally finished my pieces & had a chance to lay it out. I didn't use Bernat yarns, though. I used Hobby Lobby's "I Love This Yarn!". I haven't seen anyone else use a variegate, but they're almost a must in any afghan I make. I love coordinating colors with them. ...Well, guess I better get to sewing!

Anyhow, onto happier things, I finished seaming my afghan together!! 2 days earlier than I had expected!

Not in love with the last clue (pink) motif at all. But now I will have a nice completed project for the next time we get invited to a wedding! I really hate seaming, so I join the hexagons with crochet hook



I just have to block my blanket now before the border

brige, how did you crochet it together, slip stitch, single crochet? I'm having trouble sewing mine together and I like the way yours looks.

I joined the hexagons with slip stitches with the color of yarn used to one of hexagon... It's easy, simple and clear.

I'm finally finished my weaving, and ready for the border. Took me awhile, my youngest grandson was out of school for the Easter Holidays. He's 7 and this afghan is for him. I had to change the flowers, so it wouldn't look to girlie. He loves it and can't wait for it to be finished so he can take it home. He picked out the colors and I think he did a good job.
