This is the KAL afghan my friend "Brylee" made. She asked me to post her pictures for her.

I love it! That would go perfect in my bedroom. What colors did she use?

This is my first post, my friend lkwcross taught me how to respond (duh)! I used Birch White, Aqua Frost, Greek Sea, Stone Brown and Bark. Those were the best colors for my room. Thanks for your comments.

Well hello fellow knitters. I have finished. I have altered the layout a little on mine as I really didn't like all the pink together. Originally my colors included white rather than the sundrift but all the Michaels stores in my area did not have the white. I am satisfied with my final colors though as they go with my comforter in my bedroom and my sofa in my living room. I also made a wider top and bottom boarder as I didn't like the narrower version. Someone had mentioned having the same design on the top and bottom that we have on the sides and I also thought that would be nice. Therefore I decided to see what I can come up with and on my second one I make for my daughter I may put it on if it turns out ok. I will post photos of what I come up with later. Here is my mystery afghan.

how many extra rows did you add on the top and bottom? i think i will do the same when i get there.

:knit: Thanks Bernat - I've loved knitting this blanket, and chose spring colours for it. I've also attached a picture of the last KAL (2009) which I also enjoyed knitting......roll on the next Bernat KAL!!!

This year's KAL was much simpler than the last one - but I still really enjoyed knitting it! There are so many patterns on the Bernat website that I can't decide what to knit first - any suggestions? PS It's great that Bernat finally ship orders to Scotland!!!

Ah! This one takes my breath away! It's one of my favorites!

Thank you. I've enjoyed knitting the afghan, especially the surprise aspect of it! The borders are my favorite part and make the perfect frame - my compliments to the designers! Looking forward to the next one . . .
