It's taken me awhile to post a picture of my blanket in its sewn-together stage. The lighting's a bit off, but the idea is there. I intended to use the pinwheel center, but when I put it altogether, the blanket looked less busy with a center diamond instead.

I LOVE it!! What a beautiful afghan!! I did the same thing you did. I was going to put the pinwheel in mine too, but changed it to the diamond because it looked too busy!
