I made a couple of these washclothes the Chrythiamum. I did not like how mine turnred out so I left out the 9 row and use it as a pad to put hot pots on. It is so pretty!

I think I am going to make some of those chrysathamum dishclothes with my left-over Bernat Waverly. Once I am finished by blankets that is. :knit: I have a hot pad that I made many years ago in this pattern, I made two cloths without the second colour, then used the second colour to join the two together.

I had never really used knitted or crocheted cloths before until I recently made one just messing around with some scrap cotton yarn and knitting needles. I think I am in love!!! They are awesome. I feel the need to make dish cloths and towels now!!!! I also am going to make a couple swiffer covers while I"m at it I believe.

I love handknitted cloths. They are so sturdy, and work so much better than store-bought cloths.
I will never buy another dishcloth, but I WILL buy lots of dishcloth yarn! :D

dishcloth white w/purple

Postby billiebob » Wed May 09, 2012 7:22 pm

Hi, Thursday or Friday afternoon I was going thru the forums and I saw a washcloth someone made and it was beautiful!! I have spent five days trying to find it and see if there was a patteren attached. It was white with purple edging. It was shaped like a flower. Even if I can't find the patteren I'd love to tell someone how much I enjoy what they do. I have not made and washcloths yet (been crocheting for years and years) I almost made a scrubby once put it down and we know how that goes! Anyway could you please help me I have a baby blanket that needs to be finished in two weeks can't spen much more time on computer lol
Thanks again
Happy stiches
