I changed up my layout again, but I'm really happy with the final outcome. Clue 6 is a bit different as well.

Most of the borders that I've seen are very distinctive and really do play up the overall theme of the blankets! Thanks Bernat for bringing out the creativity in everyone!

I agree!! And, if so, it seems to have worked :)

I was disappointed when I saw the final layout but having moved clue 4 to the outside edges and put it all together it does actually look really nice. Putting the various colours in the border has made it all tie in nicely!!!!! Can't wait until there's another CAL, had so much fun and loved seeing everyone else's really helped. There's so many amazing afghans, and really loving all the colours!!!! :D

love the colors

I have been considering doing the CAL now that I have finished my KAL. I have seen some beautiful work from you crocheters. The one I really love is the multi-colored motifs done by "daverett". :bravo: I would never have thought of doing that myself. I am not crazy about the original layout but with the multi-colored motifs it is nice looking. I have enjoyed seeing all the photo's of your finished afghans. Keep up the great work.

Best thing is to pretend it's not there!

Seriously.....I have no idea! All my efforts over the years have been pretty futile. Sometimes washing it with fabric softner helps loosen the bond between the cat hair and the yarn. Then put it in a dryer with no heat and a dryer sheet..... but it's not like you can brush it off or anything. :idonno:

Most sensible solution!!!! Or just consider it added fiber to a beautiful afghan.....
