Needlenut, this turned out to be a beautiful blanket! Makes me wish knew how to knit!

I also want to thank you for the suggestion that you gave me several weeks ago for a comparable crochet pattern using the baby waves ripple pattern. I have used it for the blanket for my grandaughter and, like you, only have a couple of hours most evenings to work on it. I think it is coming along very well, and I should be finished with it in the next 10 days or so.

My stepping waves afghan is done! I started it on Friday, February 10th and finished it up Wednesday, April 4th. Just 2 days shy of 8 weeks from start to finish. Not bad, considering I am still working a 40 hour week away from home. The end result was well worth it. I am so pleased with the Waverly for Bernat yarn. It is a pleasure to work with, so soft! Kudos to the Bernat design team for the pattern, too. Here are some pictures for all of my new yarn buddies. I have really enjoyed sharing this project with you all and hope that I have inspired some of you to try it for yourselves. Happy knitting!

Good choice. I think every car should have a handmade blanket. Puts a personal touch on something that came through an assembly line.
