I used 4 needles, but did have to concentrate as they do tend to drop off if you are not careful, also a lovely pattern, but not one that you can do if there are too many distractions around - needs plenty of concentration, but worth it in the end. Good luck with it everyone!

I found a cache of your instructional videos in this beret topic. I really like your videos, I can actually see what you are doing-big yarn, big needles, contrasting background. It would help me a lot if in any of the videos I have looked at if they would show the finished technique being taught and compare it with standard knit or purl. For example knitting through the back loop. I am so new at knitting, so I don't know what I would be trying to accomplish by doing this. A comparison would be helpful to me.
I got a big kick out of the DPN video! Kudos to all who can do that, I am too clumsy!
Is there a place in the Bernat forum where all of the videos are consolidated in one topic for those learning to knit and /or crochet? I just happened upon these while admiring everyone's berets. It is nice to post appropriate videos with particular projects but would be great to have them all together in one place too so everyone could reference to them as needed.
