Thank you!
We leave tonight or tomorrow morning, depending on how well we sleep! I have most everything packed (even two new swim suits!), including several projects, I have enough cotton packed to make a dishcloth a day, I have an afghan pattern and yarn (satin) packed for a full afghan from the Satin Seasons booklet and I have the yarn for another mermaid purse all packed. Having never been on a ship before we have no idea how the seasickness may hit us or if the down time will let us do crafts. I am sure I did not need to pack the afghan project, but that one is really the 'justincase' one. The purse can be completed in a few hours and the cloths about an hour each. Plus we do have two days of travel, so I need something to keep my brain occupied through the mountains, last trip they made me sick. It is a 22 hour drive, hoping to reach North Carolina before sleep the first night. This is our second huge trip to Florida, first cruise ever.
I get to miss out on the CAL fun. I am sooo glad we added the border last week!
I did crochet Mickey heads for barrettes or key chains, they were fun and easy to make. My SIL will be adding them to her FE packages.
This is the best way I could ever imagine spending our 13th anniversary - April 24. We didn't have a 'honeymoon' 13 years ago, so this makes up for it! I even get to wear the shoes from our wedding since they go perfect with my pirate outfit!
I am so excited! My brother keeps asking us how can we go on a trip with so little time to prepare! I think it is the best way to make plans! Then the excitement won't kill you!

We received tragic news a few nights into the cruise, the night before our anniversary. My husbands father had passed away that morning. We finished our cruise (which was fantastic) and have been driving ever since. We have over 3 more hours to get to where his parents live. This has been a very hard fast drive to get there before the funeral which was delayed so we could be there.

Bless your heart! That is very upsetting. I hope you were still able to enjoy your cruise.
