Love your blanket and think your border is super!!! Please do post the pics of the chemo hats--unfortunately, there is always a need. Best of luck to your sis-in-law.

I was excited to see the flower pattern because my inspiration was a flowered coverlet. It was too perfect! The SC boarder in the MC didn’t work for me so I pulled it out and changed the colors to match the pieces I was surrounding. I did the first SC in the back loop but when around the second time with a SC in the center of the stitch (not sure the technical terms for that). I am really happy with the 1” boarder it created. Thank you to Bernat for putting this together and to all of you for your help and support!!

Edging was simple 3 rows of dc.
I had a great time doing this CAL, my very first afghan and first large project made for myself.
