I am working on the Plum Blossom Dishcloth. My husband wants to get in on all this excitement. He has been just as excited as I was each week waiting for the clues. He wanted to do something with the yarns. He made his 1st project using the Knifty Knitter and learned to make a scarf. I think he did a really great job. :cloud9:

Wow! Great work!
There are LOTS of male knitters, so he has joined a great group.
In fact, I think that men invented knitting....back when they first made nets for fishing by hand.

I just started a discussion for male knitters in our General Knit and Crochet area, so tell him to check there occasionally!

These are the hats I made for a family member who is going through Chemo. This is what distracted me from finishing my CAL.

thank you ladies. :) the model is my 5 yr old daughter, Athena, who is "old hat" (pun intended) at modeling my crochet creations by now. lol. I tried to get my 11 year old stepdaughter to model for me this past weekend, but it didn't go over too well...too bad too, cuz that brown/auburn hat would look great on her with her red hair and pale skin. (yes, i have a red-headed step-child).

I'll probably force Athena to model the last hat for me later today. If I do, I'll post pics of that one too. I still have to write out the pattern for the last one and post it on Ravelry. in my copious free time.....

Thanks for the pics--they are great and an inspiration--love the colors. I have lots of bits of this and that which would make great hats. My mom goes for monthly injections that are a type of chemo but she still has her hair. The next time we go, I think I will ask the nurse if she knows of anyone who would like a hat and what color that person might like.
