Edging was simple 3 rows of dc.

I had a great time doing this CAL, my very first afghan and first large project made for myself.

Awesome layout and colors! :bravo:

I don't know how you guys and gals find the time for all the posting (with all the crocheting going on!) but I am oh-so-glad you do! So maybe I'll share a bit too.......

I think this is beautiful. Congratulations.

I want to take it outside and burn it but the yarn is fire retardant and would only leave a melted pile of plastic as a forever reminder!! I am going to give it one more try and hopefully it will be done and I can do the border.

Yorkiemom, are you having trouble assembling it? If so, I learned from sonoma a way to join the pieces using the flat braid method and it worked great.

Here's a link to a video on YouTube that'll show you how to flat braid if you want to give it a try: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2qfBKZwqBgE

I'm not having trouble attaching the motif's I am slip stitching them together, it's getting the right motif in the right place that is making me nuts. Pretty soon, lighter fluid, big puff! :ire:
