I nominate JazzHooked. It seemed she was of the first to complete each motif and often found ways to "fix" the pattern or simplify it somehow. She always seemed to always be a voice of reason when things would get tense. I would find myself waiting for her to post after each motif before jumping in myself!

Shandeh was the most helpful to me. However, since she can't be nominated I would like to nominate Lialab. Not only have I noticed that she is helpful and supportive towards people, I also noticed her native language is French and she did not use that as a barrier.

i nominate Jcrochet and lilabab because they both were so encouraging! I found the hints and tips in this experience just as helpful as the positive encouragement from members. Of course I have to nominate more people in this category too. There were quite a few who kept me laughing and knitting, including Shandeh of course!

ahh, thanks for the love I have a hard time keeping track of all the helpful members on this forum, don't suppose it is possible to nominate the whole lot? Seriously, I don't have a lot of experience and the members on this forum have been so incredibly helpful, if I were to try to name some here is my list: heyheycrochet, karenarp, Jazzhooked, dogfoster, zhanie and mdmfoo (great border instructions!!). Thanks to all of you for being there every stitch of the way

Thank you Zhanie I appreciate your kind words, There was so many people I could vote for in this category, who have helped, not only me but a lot of people and they also kept me going, It was my weekly appointment I was looking for each week. I have great words for Shandeh and Kaleigh eventhough they are not eligible but they deserve it

I am saddened that we don't have separate contests for the separate CAL/KAL's since we had separate clues and techniques and all all along. Makes no sense. Luckily I followed along on both, since I did intend (and still do) to make 2 crocheted and one knitted. Anyhow, after much reading and reviewing old posts I have come up with my list of those members whom I found to be most helpful. I am very honoured and grateful that anyone would think of me in this category. I never thought getting involved and offering up my own tips would end up being noticed. Ya, I know, I found too many to be helpful to list just one person! Voting will be the most difficult thing ever with so many great people and afghans to chose from. I should mention I did find our wonderful mods and admins very helpful too, but did not list them.
I also wish there was one more category, kindest member. Someone who was there to support and cheer
