Now I know how you all feel that have already finished. It's a great sense of accomplishment, just to have finished. Even all the tails are done.

Thanks for such a wonderful experience Bernat ladies.

Laina :-)

wow! I love it! :bravo:

My husband did not like it when it was in progress but when it was finished he thought the sum was greater than the parts and now likes it. Can't decide whether to keep it or donate to my church to raffle off during their summer festival.

Beautiful! I've posted your photo, using the "Share" option, so everyone can see it here:

I've tried it again. Don't know if this will work either. I'm not too "computer savvy". My afghan is on the flickr site so hopefully this will work. I couldn't resize the picture so that Bernat would accept it. Always showed up too large. Still don't know how to do it!

Any way, this was a fun "mystery" afghan. Have enjoyed seeing other "blankets"!

shar319 wrote:Not very good at taking pictures and I hope it will post correctly but I finally finished the CAL. Had a small problem when sewing together - I cut the wrong thread and undid a couple of motifs so had to redo them. Still thinking about the border - have an idea to make the edge even but haven't decided if I really want to do that or not.

Loving all the pictures. This has been so much fun and I have learned a lot of different stitches. I am also working on the KAL but only half done with that one - it will be some time before I finish that one.

Congratulations on finishing your blanket!
So sorry about how you had to re-do some motifs. I've done that exact same thing before. Ack! ;)

Colours:
Mauve Glow #55402
Beautiful Blue #55410
Breath of Blue #55148
Aqua Frost #55200
Bitter Rose #55425

To finish it off, I used sc, hdc, dc, and shell in the 8 rows to add a different edging.

Very pretty! :inlove:

Laina, could you post directions for your flowers and vine embroidery? It is great! It adds so much to the blanket. Great layout, too.
