Hi Sonoma,

I'll post it hopefully later today. Thank you so much for the compliment. The layout was actually an accident and I left it that way because I didn't want to redo it.

I was getting frustrated because as I seamed, I made some mistakes and had to redo some of the motifs. So when I finally got it all seamed together, I realized I made another mistake and just didn't want to undo and redo again.

So I left it as is. So thanks for saying you like it. Makes me feel not so bad about not redoing the seaming. :)

Now I know how you all feel that have already finished. It's a great sense of accomplishment, just to have finished. Even all the tails are done.

Thanks for such a wonderful experience Bernat ladies.

Laina :-)

Your blanket is very very nice and I like your little added flowers, what a neat idea, very original :bravo: How did you put them??

Hi lialab,

Thanks for your kind words. Are you asking how I attached them?

I've tried it again. Don't know if this will work either. I'm not too "computer savvy". My afghan is on the flickr site so hopefully this will work. I couldn't resize the picture so that Bernat would accept it. Always showed up too large. Still don't know how to do it!

Any way, this was a fun "mystery" afghan. Have enjoyed seeing other "blankets"!

Your link worked for me. I love your colors and your layout; very striking! Great job! :bravo:

Exactly, are they sewn in or is it "applique"?

Here are my finished pictures:

Main Color: Beautiful Blue
A: Blue Gown
B: Sundrift
C: Incense
D: Breath of Blue

I really enjoyed this project. I changed the border to add mor color to the outside. I wanted to pull the contrast colors out of the middle.

This has been fun and I look forward to the next mystery.

They are appliqued onto the afghan with a sewing needle and embroidery floss.

Even with my picture I got a piece in on wrong spot. :rainy: Now to undo 10 pieces  and I was really liking the flat braid.

Hello everyone

I have finally finished my blanket and here it is! I am the workmate Deria refers to in her posts and it was she who kindly took the photos for me. Credit has to also go to Demolas, my husband and not a member of this "knitting' forum, for showing me how to make the pictures take up less data space. (I could be sitting at my sewing machine and that is 'knitting' to my husband despite the number of times I have explained I don't know how to knit.)

This project has been made extra fun with all of you who posted and shared stories and photos as we went along. I have seen some wonderful work from you. Thank you to you all.
