karenk, sundowngirl and tucker, so happy to see your blankets. I still love the varigated yarn, and purple, and the blues are very pretty with the quilt look only accentuated with the ties. I want to make another ten with all these great ideas

Wasn't sure I would make it. Had difficulty doing the pick up and knit and no response to my question or request for help. So here it is "Shades of purple, silver, and stripes. I think the grape center and boarders made all the difference. I had considered white. Hope Granddaughter loves it, as purple and silver are her favorites.

I got mine done just under the wire! I've had so much fun. This is my second knit project ever. The KAL has been an excellent learning experience and I'll definitely do it again!!

Congrats to ALL of you, your blankets are all so different. I did not even come close to finishing on time...I have to sew them together and I only have about 10" of the right-side border, but I do like how it's knitting up.
