ShirtgirlVA! I am so sorry that you missed this experience. it has been quite a journey. It's amazing, the variety of styles, color combo's, borders, and layouts that this talented crocheting community has produced. Also the nurturing and kindness that is in every post. It is my wish for you that you can participate in the next one! So with, thanks I appreciate your kind words!!! Please notice that I modified one of the small squares and used it to accent the edge. To make it work for me I kept one of the "corners" but rounded the other three corners by evenly spacing the double crotchets all around and back to the corner. The shape was a teardrop. They fit in the spaces left by two octagons. Thanks again!
