I'd like to say that I enjoyed my first KAL so much that I hope to join in again for the next one. The mystery piqued my curiosity and kept me motivated (proof - I actually finished! Everyone is amazed at how quickly it got done.

I enjoyed trying new stitches and learning about colour coordinating (proof - I have colours from three different colourways in my afghan). I think it turned out great, AND it looks good with the colours in my living room! Bernat, you've got an excellent partnership with Waverly that is educational and that gives beautiful results. Please keep! Now I'm ready to do some coordinating cushions (HINT HINT).

I especially enjoyed connecting with a bunch of new and wonderful people and hope to be stitching with you all again for other projects! The support and encouragement is fantastic, not to mention motivating!

Finally, I appreciate the inclusive and educational environment at Bernat. The instructional video tools are extremely helpful and the admins and moderators of the forums are always present and engaged - even doing the project right along with the rest of us. Noone is turned away; there isn't a prerequisite to be working with Bernat yarn in order to get help or participate in a project. So many times I have seen yarn shops offer classes or help, but only if you buy everything right there.

I LOVED it!! I had so much fun! Wednesday is my day off and I always looked forward to getting the clue first thing in the morning! I liked how you could pick your colours that complemented each other. The only thing I was disappointed with was that the afghan was not big enough! Please please try to have another for the fall!

I really enjoyed the CAL! It was my first and certainly wont be my last!
I did feel that forum posting in not efficient and it was very difficult to keep track of what was said and replied and posted.
Sure would like to see more of a Facebook type forum...
Thank you for the mystery! It was fun!

I'd like to thank all of the Bernat team for the hard work put into developing and organizing this project. Your support made this a great learning opportunity for me, and without it I would probably (No, surely) would NOT have completed my afghan in the time given. I have always set aside projects for self to start gifts for others. Thank you!
On constructive feedback line, I'll list
Things I liked;
    Wednesday "clues", great for anticipation and helping me complete my squares in time for my next clue :)
      Freedom to stray from the given...I'm glad I wasn't tied to only the suggested colors or pattern and could let my individuality shine through when a creative bug bit me.
        The opportunity to see what other crafters were coming up with as well...made me feel part of such a larger creative force and also inspired me when I was stuck or displeased with some elements of the suggested pattern.
          Positive encouragement and resources given by Shandah as we all plugged along (Thanks Shandah:)
          Things I would change if I had the power;
            I'd have liked the elements of the crochet patterns to align better for putting my afghan together in the end. It was frustrating to stitch them together when the number of stitches didn't match, and since my weakest strength is in the finishing, this was really frustrating. On a side note, if I hadn't wanted to post a completed project, I might have put this in my UFO closet and then I still wouldn't have anything to show for all that work, so Kudos to the ones who made this a contest:)
              I'd like the "Badges" for clue completion to be much smaller so that I wouldn't have to scroll through so many pages trying to read comments along the threads posted.I didn't even understand what all those pictures were about (the badges) until just recently. Web-designers might know how to make this a more reader friendly forum.
                The contest would have continued to keep KAL and CAL separate, providing prizes for each separately. I hadn't followed along the KAL thread at all because I wasn't participating in that one, so in the end, I didn't realize we were "competing". Their work is beautiful and deserved it's own set of prizes...after all, the more yarn Bernat gives us, the more "addicted" we become...it would be a win-win in my eyes :inlove: :inlove:
                That's all! :hellogoodbye: alwaysforyou Lynn

                :cloud9: Wednesdays were great seeing the next clue and than figuring out how to do it.

                :idonno: the CAL layout wasn't my favourite because I like symmetry but I had lots of fun :thumbsup: creating new layouts - almost 30+.

                :bravo: to all the other crafters all the completed designs and colours were amazing.

                :smashy: recommend if possible to join threads together - it would be easier to follow conversations and understand who and what people were commenting on.

                :rofl: had lots of fun on the forum seeing the successes and getting help on failures

                until next time :knit:

                This was my first time ever to do a KAL and really enjoyed the process.
                I look forward to another one.
                Thank you Shandeh for your encouragement.
                There were so many threads that I got lost at times but can see why they are needed.
                All the blankets were wonderful and it was great to be a part of it.
