Knit-Along: Finished Blanket Photos

Two days too late to enter the contest, but I finally finished my KAL. I'm much faster at crocheting, so the border is 2 rows/rounds of double crochet and 1 row/round of reverse single crochet.

Wasn't sure I would make it. Had difficulty doing the pick up and knit and no response to my question or request for help. So here it is "Shades of purple, silver, and stripes. I think the grape center and boarders made all the difference. I had considered white. Hope Granddaughter loves it, as purple and silver are her favorites.

Yeah, I finished my afghan & I love it! Just noticed while looking at some of the others that I attached my side borders on the wrong side, whoops! Oh well, I think it's just fine the way it is - sure as heck am not going to change it now.

We won't tell! Your borders look great!

I got behind in the kal, but I am determined to finish. I love the colors that the other kal's have done. I wish I could have devoted more time to the blog. I will do better on the next kal.

I finally finished my first Kal mystery afghan and with great enjoyment as I made it for my granddaughter, who chose the Simplicity colors and original pattern. She unknowingly is receiving it for a gift and, so the reason for the bows, that I color coordinated with the motifs. I tried several photos but they just wouldn't come in clear. Thanks Bernat for a great project and am looking forward to the next one.

I got mine done just under the wire! I've had so much fun. This is my second knit project ever. The KAL has been an excellent learning experience and I'll definitely do it again!!

You're right! Yours was the last one that qualified for contest entry. That was close!

Here's my blanket. I hope I did it correctly. If not I give up. I enjoyed doing this KAL and will definately do another.

Sweet! Reminds me of the pinwheel toys I used to get when I was a young girl. I just loved those.
