Good work!
You are like me....you do a tight cast-off.
I'm still trying to cast off more loosely....it's really hard to make it just right.

Now, all you have left to do is seam it together, and add buttons.

I will work on mine some more today, so I can do videos on the K2together and YO for making the buttonhole.
Then, I will do a cast off video. And finally, a video on seaming.

How do you cast looser? Do you need to switch to a larger hook?

Some people use a larger needle for casting off, but it doesn't help me much. I'm a knit-wit. I just need to release the yarn and let it FLOW, instead of holding it too tight. The key is to make the EARLIER stitch loose, so that it pulls easily over the new stitch for a loose bind-off.

I will have to try and wade through my craft room to find a couple buttons, so will save that for when I am feeling braver!

I'm gonna wait until my purse is finished, then take it with me to the craft store to look for buttons. Maybe I'll take my little camera along for a video while I search. That might be fun. Hopefully, I can talk a friend into being my official "videographer". Ha!

PS: I was looking again at the photo with the pattern and finally realized why it looks so wrong (thanks to Zhanie) - the second button is missing. I was thinking it was on the flap (doh!). Maybe Bernat should be informed so they can update the photo

That's right! The second button SHOULD be on the purse, because the hole is on the flap!!

I finished mine and enjoyed the knit, purl, knit. Takes a little more time, having to move the yarn back and forth. Good practice, and I know I need that.

I made my change purse in Bernat Super saver rouge. It is my new favourite colour. It matches the flower on my mermaid purse! I am using it to hold all those pesky cards I have in my purse.
