We don't really know exactly how many people participated. We only see the posts by people who have signed into our forum, to tell us about their project. I'm sure there are just as many silent participants, who have just pulled up the clues and worked on their blanket without making any posts, or sharing any photographs.

If you look at our completed blankets photographs, you will see 155 crocheted blankets, and 69 knitted blankets.

Zhanie, I finally started my pillow but am stuck on the decrease. Guess I'm not very good at figuring out patterns. I have 67 sts on needle which is middle of my pillow (corner to corner) but unsure how to keep lines in pattern while decreasing. I know to K1, K2 tog at beginning and end of each row, it's the number of stitches in between to keep line pattern uniform that I'm having trouble with. If you could help(again!) would appreciate it very much.

Hi Grandmasue!
I am so happy you have gone that far and my pattern worked for you!! :bravo: :cloud9:
I read your post a few minutes ago then set out to catch up with you so I can be sure I say the right thing, but I only have 45 stitches on my needles right now, meaning that it will take a while for me to catch up.

What I would do is start the row with an increase, then make sure you pick up a stitch underneith where the lines are if you need to continue a line (ie. it's not long enough) or, you do regular knit at the line, knit two, then knit one below on next stitch (to start a new little line.) Also, If you can post a picture here I may be able to tell what to do next.

in the meantime I'll keep knitting! :knit:

Zhanie, sorry it's taking me so long to get back to you but I have finished the pillow. I was using different colors so just made another triangle the same way with 2nd color then sewed them together in the middle. For the back I used one of the other pattern blocks (the vertical lines one using K1B). I then made a flap on the back so she can take the cover off and wash it and added buttons for decoration. Would send picture but don't know how, can you explain to me how?

Thank you Shandeh, I found that and tried it but think my problem is I don't know how to get my pictures off the card and into a file that will attach to my post. Still trying to figure it out, something I haven't done before.
