I finally finished my first Kal mystery afghan and with great enjoyment as I made it for my granddaughter, who chose the Simplicity colors and original pattern. She unknowingly is receiving it for a gift and, so the reason for the bows, that I color coordinated with the motifs. I tried several photos but they just wouldn't come in clear. Thanks Bernat for a great project and am looking forward to the next one.

I love the afghan, sundowngirl!! It's beautiful!! And the bows are a really nice touch for your granddaughter! You've personalized it beautifully!! It'll be an afghan she can treasure forever!

To date I am still working on my KAL. I finished my CAL on time, but being a new knitter, this is taking a while. I'm 5 squares into Clue 3, and plugging away. Sooner or later, I will finish!

Woohoo! Finished my first knitted afghan today- this KAL!
I came into it late, in the middle of May, but I'm really looking forward to being a part of the next one, whenever that may be!



Now to work on the 2009 KAL while I wait...
