It's time to announce the winners!

We want to thank every one of you fabulous Forum members for participating in the Waverly for Bernat Mystery Afghan Knit- and Crochet-Along! It was so much fun to learn the stories behind the afghans and get to know everybody here on the Forums. Before we announce the winners, I'd like to let you all know that while the KAL/CAL is over, the Forums are not! We will continue dishing out the advice, conversations, and contests, as well as running other KALs and CALs at the Bernat Crochet-Alongs and Knit-Alongs board. We'd love it if you decide to stick around and hang out with us until the next mystery afghan!

Hi, Y'all,
I am really so surprised and excited to be nominated and voted for by many of my fellow yarnsters...the idea of winning in any category was beyond hoping for when I saw so many extremely beautiful and creative afghans. I was just so pleased to have finished mine in time to send in pictures. It is the first time I've joined anything since I was in 4H in elementary school (sometime in the '50s), so you can see I'm not much at "joining", mostly just a stealth watcher from the sidelines.
Anyway, Thanks to all of the Bernat team for their wonderful patterns and encouragement, and for the freedom to take our own paths to create our own personal products...the contest was just the added incentive I needed to get mine finished in time (by a thread ).

Just like alwaysforyou, I'd like to thank everyone for nominating and voting for my afghan. This was also my first time participating in a crochet-a-long and I have to say that the friendliness and camaraderie of this little community made the experience truly special and one I will definitely take part in again. Thanks also to Bernat for hosting us and supplying the weekly anticipation as I waited for each clue to come along; my very first crochet attempt was using Bernat Denimstyle yarn, and I've been a fan ever since.
