I have finished mine. I am not too happy with it as I still have to practice my cast off and I messed up a few times. I may have purled or knitted when I was supposed to knit or purl. So I came up with a system to help me remember which stitch was next. For me, all knit stitches were the odd numbers and purl the even numbers. It helped tons. I am currently working on my second one.
Enough rambling. Here is my coin purse (1st attempt). I used the left over Waverly yarn from my CAL blanket in Porcelain Red.

After you get used to knitting more, you will learn to "read" the stitches, in order to know if you should be doing a knit or purl stitch. In the Seed Stitch design, you are knitting the stitches that look like they were just purled, and you are purling the stitches that look like they were just knit.
In Ribbing, you will do the exact opposite. You will be knitting the stitches that look like they were just knitted (knit the knits), and purling the stitches that look like they were just purled (purl the purls).
You can see the difference in the stitches, by looking closely at each stitch just after you work it. When you knit a stitch, it has a little V under it. When you purl a stitch, it has a little "bump" under it.
In this photo, the 3 stitches on the right end are KNIT stitches. The next 3 stitches are PURL stitches.
