Their addresses are the same as Bernat's and I am confused; are they the same entity? I do not often use Handicrafter yarn as it is not as readily available in my area, as is Sugar'n'Cream. The 3 yarn brands seem to be closely related .

Lily and Patons are not Bernat products. They are separate, but related.
All three companies are owned and operated by Spinrite.

:o Thank you much for your answer, Shandeh! That certainly clears it up for me!

You're welcome! The only reason I know about it, is because I have been working for Bernat since 2009. I read everything I can find about Bernat, because I'm a dedicated fan. :cloud9:

Thank you!

I am now finished the second colour repeat and into the third (of five)

Has anyone else made the afghans from this booklet using Satin? I am wondering if you have encountered the same problem I keep having with recommended yarn amounts. So far all the afghans I have made from it with the Satin have asked for too few balls. I always need to add one more of each colour at least. These patterns are the only ones I have encountered that seem to list too few balls. I will know what amounts I needed for sure to do this afghan when I finish this one.

Interesting! I wonder if the yardage in Satin was changed at some point, and the patterns don't reflect the change? :hrmm:

I feel that way too since I live only a couple hours away from their outlet store!

Well, finished the third of five repeats tonight, still on schedule, though I do need to tie these new ends in - I have been pretty good and tying them in as I finish sections. And to try and minimize where they may fray I have been putting the ends down the sides. I figure I can try and cover up the ugly bulk when I put on the borders

I am so excited to head out to Spinrite's Big Ball Bonanza later today that I just cannot work on my afghan! I keep making mistakes on it and not easy ones to fix over later, these need frogging! So I concede for now. I only have less than one more colour repeat to go and the border! It kind of flew by the closer to the end I was getting. I am hoping that I can have this finished by the end of the weekend.

I also did sort of fall behind cuz I am running out of one of the colours I need, and I do have more of that colour set aside in another WIP I have going. So I took time to get this short colour into that other afghan to see if I would have enough to finish both or if I will need to buy another ball while I am at Spinrite today.

I also get to see the 21 new Waverly colours in person! I am dying to see the purples! They better have them in stock!

I wish every one lived close enough to Spinrite to be able to take advantage of their huge sales! Can you believe they will have 400 gr balls of Jacquard for only $10, and if you buy 3 you get the fourth one free! So that is like buying 16 small balls for only $30!
Or how about Baby Blanket for only $5 a big ball instead of $10.99 as on the website store? And all balls qualify for buy 3, get 1 free! $15 for 4 balls at this sale instead of $43.96!!!
