My CAL Blanket is finally done! And here it is. Thank you so much to everyone from Bernat and everyone on the forums you made making this blanket so much fun. I learned so many new stitches and my confidence in my crocheting has grown so much. I feel like I can take on any crochet project now.

I finally completed my third afghan! It was done in the leftover yarns from my first two (I still have leftover yarn). The layout is based on the original Bernat layout with a couple of changes, including a total change on clue #6. I used an octagon motif, which I expanded to fit, called “Purple Pansy” from “Go Crochet! Afghan Design Workbook” by Ellen Gormley.

These are the colors I used:
MC – Turtle Green (five skeins)
Contrast A – Rose Heather (two skeins)
Contrast B – Blush Heather (two skeins)
Contrast C – Dark Rose Heather (two skeins)
Contrast D – Celadon (two skeins)
Contrast E – Stone Brown (two skeins)
Contrast F – Sundrift (two skeins)

Beautiful! Great use of the leftovers! I like the flower and leaf tones. I am constantly amazed at the variety that is possible from the 6 original and more different designs ... just like the box of chocolates used to announce - no two pieces the same! Wonderful!
