Sometimes I think I'll never finish everything I'm working on. And then I start a new project which makes it worse. I'm sure you all can relate, right?

This is the graduation bear I finished and just gave to the graduates mom to give to her daughter. The picture looks like the bear is blue, but it's actually an eggplant color which is Miranda's favorite color.

Laina :-)

That bear is adorable and I love his attire!!! I know exactly what you mean about starting new projects--think we are all in the same boat with that one.

Speaking of WIPs, I just finished one also--it is an afghan for my sister's new house here in GA. I chose colors that match her blue couch and the rug that is under their pool table. I have been working on this one since fall but other projects, like the CAL, kept getting in the way. I tucked the last end today!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry I didn't see your question. Poke me or something next time I don't answer, okay. :) Hee hee!

I buy the liquid starch and mix half water and half starch and stir well. I then place the doily in the bowl and let it get good and wet. I gently squeeze the excess and block with pins and it comes out nice and stiff once dry.

I saved the extra starch mixture in a quart canning jar.

What you could do is take your hooks and see what size fits best in the stitch where you left off. Well actually, I'd probably frog a stitch or two because the last stitch finished, might be a little bigger or smaller. What I'd probably do also is begin with a smaller hook and work towards a larger hook to see which fits in the stitch.

Laina :)

Thank you so much Laina for such detailed response!! I will do exactly that!

:knit: This one is the Lilly Sugar'n Cream Honeycomb Check Dishcloth. I'm really enjoying all the new knit stitches. I just saw Shandeh's Mosaic Dishcloth, and now I'll have to try that one. :cloud9:
