I believe the measurements are for the finished item.
Be careful to make the beginning chain loose, or it will make the bottom of the cardigan too narrow.
Did you make a gauge swatch?

I've chosen "Diamond Satin Sparkle" for my color. I did order 3 extra skeins, so I'm hoping I'll have enough. I'm planning on starting this weekend as I understand the foundation row is the most difficult and I'll have more time for concentrating on it then.
