I have been playing video games for such a long time, it's hard for me to remember what I did with my time before having them.
It all started when my parents got a Nintendo game system (NES original) for my little boys back in the 1980's. Before that came along, our only source of entertainment was reading books, taking walks, feeding ducks at the park, or playing board games. Those days were OVER when the Nintendo invaded our house. But, I enjoyed it as much as the boys did.
As time went on, we got a Super Nintendo, then soon became interested in PC video games. We had the small Gameboys too - one for each of the boys, and a pink one for me!
And I also have a Nintendo DS Lite.
Now, my boys NEVER play video games, but I am still a big fan.
Here are my current favorites.
PC: The Sims, The Sims 2, Nancy Drew mysteries, Agatha Christie mysteries, Diner Dash, Build-a-lot, and some others. I would like to play the Sims 3 also, but my computer isn't strong enough for it.
Wii and Gamecube: Animal Crossing, Harvest Moon, Wii Fit Plus, Endless Ocean, Wii Sports, Deca Sports, Game Party 2.
Nintendo DS and Gameboy: Hotel Dusk, Last Window, Animal Crossing, The Game of Life, Yahtzee, Club House Games, Harvest Moon, Sims 2 Castaway, Nintendogs, The Sims Bustin' Out, The Urbz, Cooking Mama, AGAIN, Trace Memory, and Lost in Blue 2.
At one time, I had an Android device, and loved playing Angry Birds. But my android is gone now. I'm okay, though. I have plenty of things to occupy my time....like KNITTING and CROCHET!
