Have you tried soaking it down, wrapping it in a towel to remove excess water then laying it out and shaping it square?

I did dampen it. I put in the rinse cycle in the washer. That worked out fine. Got everything wet and spun out the excess. Then, I put it on the floor on top of a plastic sheet and towels. I also had the overhead fan going over night. It dried in time. My grandson loves it.
