I actually had one chain left over, so I must have miscounted as I chained. Now to figure out a way to get rid of that extra chain. LOL

You can just pick out the extra chain stitch from the end. It won't unravel. I always make a few extra beginning chains anyway, just in case I miscount. They are easy to un-do. And yes, the chain right next to to shell is easy to miss.

Rep from * around, ending with 2 sc in ch-2 sp. Join with
sl st to first sc. 36 (36-36-42-42-48) sc.

in the foundation row there are NO SC, there is a dc skip 2 and shell.... help please as I am not getting the right amount of sc around the sleeve edge.

I contacted Bernat Consumer Support, and they have responded with a correction to the pattern.

Looking at this pattern the edging should read st, not sc. This has been forwarded onto the design department for final corrections.
thanks

yay i did it right then! Here are pictures of my finished cardigan, I also made a necklace and earrings to go with it. I have decided not to add a button. I just now need to figure out how to keep the edging from wanting to curl....

GORGEOUS! :notworthy:
Maybe blocking will help with the curling edges.

Ohhhh.....this is beautiful! I love that color and your necklace is so nice with it.

I put the button mine and I'm glad that I did after wearing it here at work for a couple of days. I didn't mess with the snap. I just tuck the button in one of the spaces at the corner, and it works great. You know a chain stitch or monk's cord tie would be cute there too.

Great job on your sweater! :bravo:

(pictures of mine coming later today)
