Hi. I'm trying to crochet the free pattern for this baby blanket and can't quite figure out how to join the two motifs together. The instructions are confusing. The instructions say: "...with RS of 1st motif facing , join to lleft top corner of 1st Motif as follows: Ch 3. Sl st in 4th ch of corner ch of 1st motif. (ok, got that). Ch 3. 2 dc in same st ( what same st, the sl st of the 1st motif of back to the second motif) 1 dc in each of next 3 sts (again, on the first motif or the 2nd). Can anybody clarify this for me. Thanks.
