You're welcome zhanie! Don't you just LOVE :inlove: those patterns that become your "signature" patterns?
They become part of who you are as a knitter! :knit:
Can't wait to see more photos of your blanket!

THis one really fits the bill! It knits up so quickly, I've used about four balls of yarn (out of ten) so far. and it's really beautiful. I think I need to buy longer circular needles so I can appreciate it more. Mine are a little short and every now and then I stretch out the blanket to admire it and loose stitches!

Is it just me? I can't get the pattern to come up when I click on the link or try to search for it.

You are right, it is not easy to find because Bernat took it off their website ( I think the yarn was discontinued) But I have this link to a Micheal's website that had the same pattern:

Thanks for posting that, zhanie! That's exactly why it's not on our site - Bernat Softee Chunky has changed, so none of the older patterns work (they'll turn out REALLY BIG).

I get so many wonderful complements for my blanket, and it knitted up so quickly. Kaleigh you were right when you said that this project would be perfect for my cousin's wedding present. I can't wait to give it to her. :)

thank you Shandeh for your description of how to share a picture from flicker onto this website! Your instructions were very helpful and made it possible for me to share a picture of my chunky cable blanket. I only have three balls of yarn left! yipppeeee! :cloud9:

:hellogoodbye: Your blanket is beautiful. I LOVE it. :inlove: :inlove: :inlove: Thanks for including where we could find the pattern. This is one that I will try. I have the size 10 circulars, but there only 29" :tears: . I'll try to find the 36". Again thanks and your blanket is BEAUTIFUL.
