Well, it took me a while to actually tackle this project. It looked so hard, but I finally tried it and it was really EASY!

I used the leftover yarn from the CAL and my daughter suggested the changing of colors. The picture really doesn't do the purse justice.

This purse was made by the directions (with the exception of the color changing), but I am already making my tweaks to the next one that I am about half way done with!

wow!
there have been so many wonderful purses made here! Wonder how many other variations are out there? So many fabulous ideas and huge creativity. Such nice work everyone.
I had started a second and have yarn picked out for a third yet I am quite guilty of not working on them. I get so many nice compliments all the time when I carry mine around - which is always btw!
Oh, for anyone wondering, I had meant to line mine, thinking it would prevent small coins from falling out, but I totally forgot and use it so often I don't think it needs it. So far only my husbands car keys are the only thing to ever poke out. Loonies, toonies and quarters have no problems staying in, even with those holes, and I just don't even try putting in the smaller change.

:bravo: I love the colors, your daughter did a great job. I have made 4 of these purses and love all of them. They really are easy once you get the hang of it.

This is beautiful! I love the colour changes, what a great way to use up the Bernat Waverly. I'll bet it's a very soft purse. :) :bravo:

Thanks Everyone :) It is a very soft purse. And I really loved creating something with my daughter! She is just learning how to crochet - still getting comfortable with the yarn, but getting there. She's hinting for a perwinkle, white and veriegated (sp?) one for her, but I keep saying no. {Secret is I am going to make her one this weekend while she is gone to a camp}.

Pictures will follow :)
