Encouragement works wonders, doesn't it!
I remember how much it helped when I was first learning to knit. :)

Your knitting has come so far in such a short time. You ROCK!

So, how is pawpawtrys coming along? I haven't heard from him in a while.

Chrysanthemum dishcloth

Postby bella » Mon Jul 02, 2012 5:09 pm

I am in the process of crocheting the free pattern - Chrysanthemum dishcloth. Everything has worked up quickly except for the last row, row 9. Has anyone else made this ... could someone have a better way of writting the instructions for row 9? :helpme:

:knit: pawpawtrys2 has been working overtime and weekends. Hopefully it will be over in a week or two and he can get back to his knitting and crocheting. He did a little more on his Knitted cup cozy, started his crocheted cup cozy and the crocheted dishcloth. He was really getting into it and enjoying every minute. I know he misses you and being able to show off his work. As soon as he has time, he'll be on it again.

We worked on that dishcloth together here in the forum!

Also, there are some really good videos by Mikey from the Crochet Crowd on how to make it.
You can see them all listed on this link: Crochet Crowd Chrysanthemum Videos

Zhanie :hellogoodbye: So glad you had a great time in Wales. I think I was just as excited for you getting to go, as you were. You like my dishcloth and I like your afghan. I want to do that one. I did get the 36" needles now all I need is the yarn. I just can't decide on the color. Its still very hot down here and I just don't know if I could handle the heat of the afghan right now. I may wait for it to cool off a bit.

zhanie] what part of Wales are you in? I have such wonderful memories of many, many trips hiking around that lovely country. We spent a lot of time in Snowdonia. Some nice knitting mills there too! ;)
