:knit: OK, I finished my Basic Cap today. I just couldn't wait for the Mosaic yarn to arrive, so it isn't as nice as it could be. I just used some of my stash. This cap was a little tricky for me. If I had gone to the store and bought the size 16" needles, it would have been a lot easier. I had to fight with the 29" guys. :( It was just a pain to keep moving a little at a time and switching to the dpn,s as soon as I reached the decrease part to shape the top. This weekend I will surely pick up the 16" needles and when I get the Mosaic Yarn I will do this one again. It was a lot of fun. :)

Wow! Your hat looks GREAT! :bravo:
I know you will enjoy the experience more with 16" circulars. And the Mosaic yarn is such a soft, dreamy yarn. Be sure to let the Mosaic yarn FLOW when you work with it, because it is not as sturdy as standard worsted weight yarn....so keep the tension loose and free.

I haven't even cast my hat on yet. BAD SHANDEH! So, I plan on getting it going tonight, after choir practice. I need to set up my video area again, so I can do it.

I've been using my video area to try out working with polymer clay lately, so I need to get that stuff out of the way!

:knit: I received my order Saturday and started on the 2nd hat, using the Mosaic "Into The Woods". So far so good. I'm half way finished with this one. It is different from the other yarns. Mine is like cotton and kind of stiff. The coloring is coming out great. I really like the self stripping. How are you doing on yours?

I love fooling with clay, but I get deathly sick when I bake it. So I quit doing it. I liked making dolls, flowers and leaves. I also like doing the Donna Dewberry Paining. That's fun too. I try all kinds of crafts, but just keep coming back to my yarn. They are so pretty and soft.

Congratulations on your hat so far! I'm halfway through with mine as well. :)
I'll post a photo in a little while.

About polymer clay stuff, I bought a little toaster oven, so I can set it up outside on nice days to bake my things. That way, I won't have any fumes in the house. I found the little oven at a thrift shop for a few dollars. ;)

:hellogoodbye: I finished my 2nd hat. I love the stripping of the Mosaic yarn. The 16" needles made it a lot easier to do. This hat was a lot of fun. I'm glad I ordered the yarn and got the right needles. Again, thanks for all your help.

Thanks! I'm loving that hat too. I tried it on, and it fits just right, so I'm looking forward to this winter, when I can wear it with pride.
