At least we finally have been having plenty of rain...we were more than 20 inches below normal when summer ended, bad for a place that relys on water recreation for tourism. We had about 2 week of winter and that was mostly at night.
I think Mother Nature in going through menopause...unpredictability, hotflashes and general grouchiness :rainy:

Last week was all about shorts and sun, and today you need a heavy winter coat and boots just to survive the cold! Even last night we were visiting friends for a BBQ. Aaagh!

(it's so cold that I got to work about 20 minutes ago and I'm still having typing issues :( )

I had to wear my winter coat inside my office building for part of the morning because it had cooled down so much over the weekend!

For the past two weeks, I've had my windows open and ceiling fans running. I turned the central AC/heat OFF, so hopefully, I'm saving some money. :)

It has been SO NICE going to sleep, with the sounds of nature outside, and a gentle breeze blowing. Just wonderful. (No worries....when I go to sleep, I lock all the windows except the one in my room.)

I'm reviving this topic, so we can all share about the summer we are experiencing in the Northern Hemisphere. If you are in another part of the world, we would love to hear about your cooler temperatures!

Hot, Hotter, Hottest, Humid. That pretty much describes it. But then it's July-August in Louisiana so situation normal. Over 100 degrees for the last 3 weeks. At least we haven't had over 60 straight days of no rain and over 100 degree temps like last summer. Why do I live in Louisiana???? Heat, humidity, mosquitos, snakes and alligators...that pretty much says it all  I want :rainy:

Man! What a wicked world!

It's been really hot here too, with humidity as well, so if I go to check the mailbox, I come back in covered in sweat. It's a pain.

I wish it was okay to be like the guys, and wear only shorts. :?
But, that would be too racy...or in my case - too hilarious!
