The pillow--a simple granny square. After I ran out of the three main colors for each side, I crocheted the squares together using the same stitch with white. I used the leftover yarn from the caterpillar to make each side. Probably could have made another caterpillar with it.
My opinions on this yarn:
1. You can lose stitches easily unless you use stitch markers. (Notice that caterpillar looks like he has been eating --yellow and orange segments are fatter than green and blue.)
2. Is difficult to frog. And if your hook falls out and you don't use a stitch marker you may have trouble finding your loop.
3. Love how soft it is. My daughter is thrilled with the pillow. I had promised her the leftovers but determined while working the caterpillar that she would have trouble with it. Thus I made her the pillow. (still have a small amount for her to play with.--she has only been crocheting a couple months)
4. Wish I had more babies in the family so I could crochet the blanket on the label.
