Hey there, all you Bernat yarn lovin' people!
It's time for us to crochet a sweet baby vest together. (beginning August 15th)
The vest is very quick to make, and is perfect for baby shower gifts.
And the new Bernat Giggles yarn is SO SOFT, and easy to work with.

I'm excited this is my first CAL ever! I don't have any Giggles and would have to order online or make a trip to "the city". I do have Satin, Jacquards and Mosaic in several different colors that I think are the same weight. Now choosing which to use. I don't have a recipient in mind yet for my vest either.

Bernat Satin or Mosaic would work well, since they are both medium weight yarns.
Bernat Jacquards is too thin for this design, because it is light weight.

Hooray! So happy to start this today . . . have been working on a blanket that's made these arthritic hands a little unhappy, so a break to work on a sweet baby garment will be fabulous! I don't have any Giggles, and didn't have the resources to pick any up, but I do have a skein of a pretty white/green/pink/blue variegated worsted weight that I'm going to use instead . . . now off I go to start!

I still have to get the yarn, the kids were just not co-operating yesterday so by the time they were in bed it was making new rules time with hubby!
I am hoping to get out tonight and get it, but I have the baby in mind, pattern all printed, so that part is all done!
This is my 1st CAL.. so my posting might be slow on the get go..
