:hellogoodbye: Yeap, and here it is. I used the Bernat Giggles Yarn in the Oh Sunny Day. Trimmed it with some pink. Now all I need to do is hit the fabric store for some pink buttons to match.

Hello! I'm new to the forums. Just thought I would check to see if anyone else is making this adorable tunic. My yarn just arrived the other night and I started last night. I have never done front- or backpost double crochet OR made any type of clothing, so this contains a lot of firsts for me. Can't wait to see it on our little granddaughter. She looks very much like the little model pictured on the pattern, which made it easy to pick the yarn -- Mosaic in Daydream. After this (assuming I get through it) I'll be making the Flutter-sleeve Vest for our other granddaughter. Nice to know you're here in case I get hung up. :hellogoodbye:

Welcome to the forum, Stella! :D

I haven't tried making this yet, but it looks interesting.

I made this one a while back---when I first saw the pattern. I love front and back post stitches and this little vest is just so appealing to look at. Sorry  no picture for you. It was gifted hot off the hook. Will be making another one somewhere down the line, though.

I was waiting for that photo.... :rainy:
But, I understand. ;) I've done the exact same thing - made a project, and immediately gave it away.

I really need to try making this cute little tunic. It's precious. :)

Greetings to All'

I've got the pieces complete and am now looking :reading: to the pattern to put it all together. I don't sew so I just want to check with you all who have finished this, that I just need to match up the A, B, C etc points up and sew the yoke to the body, leaving the picots free  . I tend to read way too much into patterns and make it much harder than what the designer intended. (Though I guess that listening to an audio book, watching golf on TV (muted) and planning what to make for dinner, all the while crocheting, I make things harder for myself  )

I did enjoy making this tunic and used a bit more than one skein for the 12 month size. I will use the rest of that skein for a hat I found on this web-site in the e-book for Mosaic yarn.
