I would say that the side clusters are the most difficult part of the project. My videos for that part of the vest will be available soon. :)

meisha83 wrote:YA!!!!! The yarn has arrived!!!! Now to get settled in and started. This yarn is beautiful and feels so soft, I can't wait to see how it will work up into the pattern. :knit:

Sweet! I'm so glad your yarn arrived! :D

tjwjlove wrote::knit: I finished mine today. I used the Bernat Giggles Yarn in Oh Sunny Day. I used an orange notebook just to show the clusters a little better. Still need to get the button for it.
PS-- Be careful with the placement of the button. In the picture it looks like its in the wrong place.

Beautiful work! I just love that "Oh Sunny Day" yarn, don't you? :cloud9:

I have the yoke all done, nice and easy even if it is in the wrong yarn Walmart was supposed to have giggles and nothing, not even the shelf space. Caron Simply Soft it is, not what I wanted, but it is going to have to do. It is the same weight, and hook/needle size compared. But time to get the body started! Wonder if I can get thru the 4th row on it before I have to feed the kids!

The way the pattern is written is very confusing, I am waiting for the video to go up so I can figure out what the pattern is saying...

(Yoh and draw up a loop in 3rd ch from hook. Yoh and draw through 2 loops on hook) twice. Yoh and draw through all loops on hook – side cluster made

To do Bernat's Side Cluster for this design, you will yarn over, and draw up a loop in the 3rd chain from the hook. Then yarn over, and draw through 2 loops. THEN, you will yarn over, and draw up a loop from the 3rd chain BELOW the last one you worked, then yarn over and draw through 2 loops. Next, yarn over and draw through all the loops on the hook.

My plan is to have that video uploaded tonight. I made the video a couple weeks ago, but it would not upload to YouTube. Now, my computer says that file is corrupted. :rainy: So, I'm unravelling my vest back to the point, and making a new video tonight. Wish me luck!
