I'm pretty sure that I am going to run out of yarn Which is VERY frustrating since I am a fairly tight crocheter and the pattern calls for only one ball of yarn. Giggles is not available in stores, so I have to order online and pay shipping again and wait for it to come. I wanted to give it to the recipient next weekend when I see them, so that isn't happening...

edit: yup, I ran out with 2 more rows to go on the body and the buttonhole band

We found a correction in the Flutter Sleeve Vest pattern (one of the designers was making it for the CAL and discovered the issue).

Here's the correction:

Incorrect:
Yoke: Ch 35 (35-41-41).

CORRECTIONS
Yoke: Ch 35 (35-43-43).

The pattern has also been corrected on the web and on the pdf.

Hi Buffalove - I sent your issue to Crystal, the designer of the cardi, but she won't be in to look at it until Monday.

Just one possible solution to meet your deadline: If you can get your yarn to stretch to finish the body, maybe you could try the button band using a contrast color? (Note: I am not a designer and am really not a designer. Take my suggestion with a grain of salt)

I knew I wasn't going crazy when I started the yoke! I added the 2 chains on my own and it worked well

Oh no! I'm so sorry that happened.
I wonder how it would look with a different color at the bottom and at the buttonhole band. I bet it would look pretty like that.

I am making the 18 month size also and just finished the body of the vest and ran out of yarn. I did purchase 2 skeins because I normaly crochet a little lose so I have another skein to work with. I figured maybe finding a pattern for a pair of booties to go along with the vest if I ended up with a lot of yarn left. I have the buttonhole band and the button band to finish. I also just saw the post about the correction, I just added some stitches at the beginning to come out right.
