Now we just have to cross our fingers and remember the power of positive thinking.
Keep your hopes up. It can be beat. I have three neighbors who all had different stages of prostate cancer and they are all still going strong. I know Mr. Andy had his 13 years ago because we were both undergoing treatments at the same time.
Hint: If you feel the need to vent and rant, the car is a great place to do it. Pull over in a park or even a parking lot, away from other cars and have a screaming, raging, yelling hissy fit...it helps. I did it alot when I was going throught chemo.
We found out a month after I wrote this response that my DH of 35 years has advanced prostate cancer. He had begun to loose weight and the Dr.'s were doing tests to find out why when they found it. I can't understand why they didn't find it earlier. For the last 3 years he has been undergong treatment for reumatoid arthritis and has had every kind of test and scan you can imagine done to him and bi monthly Dr. appointments. Just holding on and trying to keep upbeat.
