HAHAHA! Your geography is right! LOL

It's so strange as Bernat is made in Canada not too far from Guelph, Ontario!!!!

Yeah, I gave up a long time ago, trying to figure out the pathway of yarn delivery.
As long as I get that big box of Bernat yarn on my doorstep, I'm a happy girl. :)

Thank you, Ewezer, for the suggestion about the buttonholes and buttons. That would be a much easier option for me than sewing in a zipper.

I haven't started yet. ( I made a trip down for the birth of my grand daughter and the recipient of the sack) But hope to start soon. Everyone ideas sound great. I am also either putting a zipper or buttons in the bottom. The honeydew looks so pretty. I love the color! Can you tell me the width of the opening? My granddaughter is 6 lbs and 1 oz so I am afraid she will still be too small for this pattern when cooler weather gets here. What color is everyone using? I will be using Butter in the Waverly. Or possible a fingering weight or sport weight to make it smaller. The Butter is pretty.

Well, I've started. I'm on row 3. I was hoping to change the centre diamond panel to be more braided but because I'm going to try to get a fine knit baby shawl done as well before this baby arrives, I think I'll end up doing this one exactly as the pattern says. :(

I can't measure it right now, because I'm sick in bed with an ear infection. Funny that I get this during baby month, eh? :?

If you try making it smaller, sportweight might work better. Fingering would make it TOO small.

Thanks! Luckily, I didn't have to teach any piano lessons yesterday, and none are scheduled today either. So, I am resting and taking antibiotics. I was up for a while last night, and played Wheel of Fortune on my Wii. :D

I also watched some shows on Netflix, and did some straight, simple knitting. I'm in bed again now. I might play The Game of Life on my Nintendo DS. I'm such a kid!

:hellogoodbye: Shandeh, How are you feeling? Ear infections can be so painful. I sure hope your getting better.

Just wanted to let you know I have finished my 16" and starting on the next part. So far everything is working out. I love this pattern. It keeps you on your toes. I love keeping track of my work and all the different changes in each round make it very interesting.
